Wanders of the World aims to explore the world of travel and pop-culture through the sometimes humorous observations of a young and ambitious writer named Brendan Wan. It is a blog that can be summed up with just four simple words: Travel, Culture, Imagination, Life.

Wanders of the World came into existence when its author, Brendan Wan, was nagged by various friends into creating a blog that would showcase his writing talent to a wider audience.

The blog name ‘Wanders of the World’ came about after a free-for-all improvisational session with Brendan and his friend and occasional writing partner, Dominic. Wanders of the World is a title with a three-layer pun, possibility making it the greatest blog title in the world.

About Brendan

Born and bred in Melbourne, Australia, Brendan Wan yearns to experience everything that life has to offer. He is an avid traveller and a lover of culture. He has enjoyed a picnic on the Great Wall; drank champagne in French region of Champagne; scootered around Taiwan on a 125cc KYM scooter dubbed “The Green Hornet”; sampled the delights of raw horse meat in Kumamoto, Japan; and visited a beer cafe in Belgium that sold 2004 different kind of beers, where he had only enough money for two beers.

Resilient at first, Brendan has finally accepted the changing of time and now begins his new journey into the digital wilderness. Join him on his adventure into the digital realm and subscribe to ‘Wanders of the World’.
